The Inspired an in-depth conversation on receiving, integrating and communicating.
Through invigorating our personal Pilates practice, we inevitably find fresh inspirations for teaching and guiding our clients.
After years of gathering information on Pilates exercises, anatomy, imagery, cues, and bio mechanics many of us are still looking for greater
inspiration in our teaching. In this course, Amy Lange and Cara Reeser will uncover valuable principles fundamental to enriching and elevating our teaching experience. We will seek to answer questions that address what motivates us as teachers to offer the cues, exercises, imagery and feedback that we do. We will examine how we gather our information to teach and how we follow and integrate this information. The goal is to free ourselves from allowing form, shape and concept to stand in the center of our motivation. Stepping back we will ask ourselves if we are listening to what are client’s bodies are asking for, so that we can maximize our communication skills and deepen our creativity as teachers.
Cost: $400 (or $200 per day)

DEEPEN YOUR PRACTICE - EXPAND YOUR TEACHING
Through invigorating our personal Pilates practice, we inevitably find fresh inspirations for teaching and guiding our clients. In this course Amy and Cara will guide participants in a series of playful and provocative movement exercises to help deepen the body’s understanding of the Pilates movement work. We will then address “hard to do” and “hard to teach” exercises, applying what we have learned, so that you can begin to develop more successful ways to see, describe, time the exercises, and achieve movement goals you have for yourself and your clients. Each day will start and end with a Pilates class so come prepared to move, play, and explore!
